Modern Infant Care

Tender, loving care is part of

Detroit's voluntary i;ospitals. This
baby, born at Grace Northwest-
ern Hospital, will receive constant
attention until the day he is ready
to go home. A completely modern
maternity department is included

Hospital, one of the four new

pitals that will be constructed as
a part of the Greater Detroit Hos-
pital Fund's $19,720,000 program.

DR. HYMAN M. CHERNOFF
presented a paper on electrocar-
diography at the cardiology sec-
tion of the convention of the
American Physiological Society
on Wednesday, April 20, at the
Masonic Temple. Dr. Chernoff is
the son of Isaiah Chernoff (Cher-
nichovsky), formerly principal of
the Kirby. Center and : Kadimah
Schools of this city, and is now
engaged in the practice of cardi-
ology and internal medicine in
New Haven, Conn., and is an in-
structor at tp.e Yale School of
Medicine.

At a Passover meeting of Club
One, Pioneer Women, April 18,
plans for the bazaar to be held at
the Labor Zionist Institute April
30 and May 1 were discussed.
Mrs. Fanny White, Bazaar
chairman, reported that plans are
going forward to 'serve regular
meals, as well as 'light lunches,
throughout the bazaar. The public
is invited.
All proceeds will go to the
Child Rescue Fund to aid Jewish
children from Cyprus and Dis-
placed Persons camps in'their re-
habilitation and training in Israel.
