cert tour in Israel. The program
was arranged by the Jewish Com-
munity Council's Culture Com-
mission, under the chairmanship
of Rabbi Morris Adler and co-
chairmanship of Lawrence W.
Crohn.
Mrs. Rebecca Sanders, chair-
man of the evening, introduced
Mrs. Scheyer. Jacob Becker,
cellist with the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra, presented a brief pro-
gram of Jewish musical selec-
tions. Mrs. Schaver spoke on
her impressions of Israel and sang
some of the songs of Israel, ac-
companied by Mrs. Rebecca Froh-
man.
