Mrs. Michael Freeman Of Wellesley Dr. has been spending the
last few weeks visiting with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Warren Shwayder of New York.
Dean Laib, daughter of Mrs. Isadore Levin of Strathcona Dr.,
is home for the vacation period from her classes at Connecticut
College for Women, New London, Conn.
Frederick Hirschman of Whitmore Rd. and his cousin, Richard
Sloss, spent the last week-end in Cleveland.
Joan Field is home from her classes at Sophie Newcomb College
in New Orleans, La., to spend the vacation period with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. William Field of Roslyn Rd., who are being hosts at
a series of Sunday night buffet dinners.
Included in the group of students who arrived from Boulder,
Colo., where they attended the University of Colorado, to -Tend the
vacation with their restective parents were: Irene Jaffe, •daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Jaffe of Huntington Woods; Judy Morton,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Morton of Roslyn Rd.; Marianne
Rosenthal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morey L. Rosenthal of Park-
side Ave.; Rita Alper, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Louis Alper of Pem-
broke Ave., and Irving Keene, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Keene
of Atkinson Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hass of LaSalle Blvd. left this Friday orr
a motor trip to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. I. Irving 'Bittker and her son, Tommy, of Atkinson Ave. are
leaving this Saturday for Los Angeles, Cal., where they plan to spend
a month visiting with her mother, Mrs. Max Grossman, who is spend-
ing the winter months there.
Included among the students who are home from Michigan State
College in Lansing to spend the vacation with their parents are:
Ann' Rosenfield, daughter of Mrs. Louis Robinson of the Lee Plaza;
Carol Goldenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis. Goldenberg of
Glynn Ct.; Marion Cullen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ,Daniel arllen
of Boston Blvd., and Harriet Field, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Field of Cherrylawn Ave.
Mrs. Max Leichtling and her daughter, Sharon, of Oakman Blvd.
left on Thursday for Miami Beach, Fla., where they will spend a few
weeks. Mr. Leichtling wiltjoin them a week later.
N. Barbara Jay is expected home on Saturday from Poughkeepsie,
Y. where she attends Vassar College, to spend the vacation period
with ' her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Jay of Wildemere Ave.
Joan Berry of Deriver, Colo., is spending the holiday vacation
as the guest of Irene Jaffe of Huntington Woods, who is her class-
mate at the University of Colorado.
Mi4. Abraham Zierer of Tyler Ave. has left for Los Angeles,
Calif., where she will be. the guest of her son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zierer.
Susan Dreifps, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dreifus of
BirchcrestDr. is home for her vacation from her classes at the
University of kew Mexico.
Dr. and Mrs. Louis Barnett of Normandy Ave. have as their guest
her brother, Max Solvick of Cocoa, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Edelson of Wildemere Ave. left on Monday
for - Miami Beach; Fla., where, they plan to spend, a few weeks and
where they will visit with, their daughter, Roslyn, who attends the
University of Miami in Coral Gables.
Mrs. Harry Rosengtein returned on Tuesday to her home in
Mishawaka, -Ind., after a visit with her mother, Mrs. .Max Siegel of
Pennington Ave.
• Mrs. Ida Goldman and her daughter of Rochester Ave. have left
for Miami Beach, where they will spend the winter months.
Mr. and Mrs. Arch Cohen of Roselawn Ave. left on Dec. 6 for
an extended visit in Miami Beach.
