the annual series of discussion
group meetings. Publicity, which

department of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation to secure bio-
graphical material, plan notices,
outline news releases, and work
out general over-all publicity
plans for specific activities of the
Women's. Division, and also pre-
pares special articles and bulle-
tins.
Campaign structure, which
works out detailed plans of the
campaign. Speakers, composed of
women especially qualified and
trained to speak on the work of
the Federation -to other commu-
nity groups- and help, on request,
in the training prograin of the
campaign. Hospitality, which acts
as hostesses, ushers and aids and
in other . capacities to develop a
warm and- friendly atmosphere at
• omen's Division funstions.

The PFC Joseph Bale Post 474 of Jewish War Veterans
inaugurated the drive for the Jewish War. Veterans' mem-
orial home at a meeting on Nov. 11, at the NorthWest Hebrew
Congregation.

At Haifa Chapter Meeting Distributed Nationally

Rabbi Moses Lehrman of Cong.
Bnai Moshe will be principal
speaker for the meeting of Haifa
Chapter, AbD, Monday evening,
Nov. 22, it was announced by
Mrs. Albert Schwartz, program
chairman. His topic will be "The
Meaning of the Jewish State."
A Palestine film, current events
summary, group singing and re-
freshments will ,complete the
evening's program.

NEW YORK A quarter-hour
radio play, dramatizing the role
of the Jewish Community Center
in enriching the lives of individ-
uals, has been produced and re-
corded by the National Jewish
Welfare Board.
Titled, "The Loneliest Boy. in
Town,"- the script was written
and performed by top-notch pro-
fessional radio writing, produc-
tion, and siting talent, under the
general supervision of Milton
krents.. The play is. highlighted
by a unique musical theme,
especially prepared by Lehman
Engel., -
The recording was heard in
Detroit. last Sunday over station
WO in connection with Mid-
wat Regional Jewish Welfare
Board Conference.
