Distinction in Drive

In checking over the many re-
port sessions and the thousands.
of items involved in the work of
general solicitation of the Worn-
en's Division of the 1948 Allied
Jewish Campaign, the conclusion
every time must be that "Mrs.
Koblin was there."
Co-chairman of secretaries in
general solicitation, Mrs.• Seldon
Koblin assumed the brunt of the
load in mid-campaign when ill-
ness forced her chairman, Mrs.

May 25, at Webster Hall, to be
sponsored by the Wayne Uni-
versity Chapter of IZFA. Joe
Yanich, IZFA president, will
speak. Movies, Palestinian and
social dancing and refreshments
will follow. Rooms are needed
for delegates to . the national
IZFA convention, to be held in
Detroit June 20 to 23. Anyone
who can house delegates is asked

IOTA ALPHA Pr active and
alumnae chapters (Wayne Uni-
versity) were honored with the
visit of the national expansion
chairman of their sorority, Miss
Ruth Rogers. Miss Rogers was
here to discuss the convention to
be held in Syracuse, N. Y. the
last week in August. Miss Rogers
was the guest of Mrs. Leonard
A. Mason and was entertained
at the homes of Mrs. Joseph
Dvorin and Mrs. Gerald Good-
man.The next meeting of Alum-
nae Chapter of Iota Alpha Pi
Sorority will be held at the
home of Mrs. Ernest Gradis, of
20033 Freeland, at 1 p.m. Satur-
day, June 6.

Detroit MASADA begins at 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 22, when the more
than 200 members of the group
will meet at Texas Timbers Ranch
for a hayride. The ride, to be fol-
lowed by refreshments and danc-
ing is the first such program at-
tempted by Masada: Members will
meet at the ranch, 28001 School-
craft, two miles beyond Tele-
graph Rd. Reservations are open
to Masada members only.
