MRS. SEYMOUR SIMONS
end of a full day of work in the
office of the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign, she still looks as "fresh as
spring sunshine," to brrow the
apt simile of one of her fellow-
workers.
Mrs. Simons has been an active
worker in the Women's Division
ever since her arrival in Detroit
six years ago.. For the past three
years she has worked as a secre-
tary in the • Allied Jewish Cam-
paign and has this year carried
additional responsibility as a
'member of the Division's office
committee, putting in at least one
day a week since October.
Bringing into service art un-
usual . flair for "good theatre,"
Mrs. Simons co-directed the skit
that was presented at the women's
pre-campaign meeting on March
16. Music is also one of her chief
hobbies and talents. She has a
lovely singing voice.
The same sweetness and friend-
liness which she brings to her
communal activities, her friends
say, are the secrets of Mrs.
Simons' success as a homemaker,
and as one of the most popular
comparative newcomers to De-
troit.
Mrs. Simons has two daughters
and a son--Shirley, Sarah and
Rudy.
