announces a Purim celebration,
to be held in the auditorium of
the Jewish Center at \ 8 p. m. Sat-
urday, March 13. A ilurnber of
booths in the auditorium will
feature games, a fortune teller
and live caricatures. Communit3r
singing, folk dancing, masquer-
ade prizes and traditional Purim
refreshments WiT1 complete the
celebration. Phil Nichamin is in
charge of the dramatic presenta-
tion; Mrs. Paul Chover, decora-
tions, and Mrs. Herman Jacobs,

will be open every evening Mon-
day through Thursday, and Sun-
day afternoon from 2 to 5. Shir-

vices were held at the Ira Kauf-
man Chapel. He 'leaves his wife,
Gertrude; a son, Bernard; and
one brother, Charles.

and Mishkan Israel Synagogue.
Rabbi Isaac Stollman officiated
He leaves his wife, Minnie; two
sons, Max and Lou; one daugh-
ter, Esther; two brothers, Abra-
ham and Isadore; one sister, Mrs.
Sam Weiss; three grandchildren.
Interment was in Machpelah
Cemetery.

by her husband, David; daugh-
ters, Mrs. Norman Schwartz and
Malbourne, and a sister, Mrs. Cel
Goodman of New York City.

MUNICH (JTA)—Jewish dis-
placed persons in Germany now
are able to register for Palestine
visas, the International Refugee
Organization announced in Heid-
elberg. Registrations will be con-
ducted by the Jewish Agency
under IRO sponsorship. Informa-
tion obtained during registration
will serve to determine emigra-
tion priorities for DPs. All dis-.
placed Jews who apply will ulti-
mately receive Palestine visas,
the anonuncement said.
