The Women's Auxiliary of the
Jewish Home for Aged, through
its president, Mrs. Samuel Wel-
ler, presented a check for $4,350
to the executive board of the
Home as its contribution toward
the building of a corridor be-
tween the Home and the annex.
This money was drawn from
savings accumulated from dues
Mizrachi Organization of De-
troit will meet this Saturday eve-
ning, at 8:30, at Congregation
Bnai Moshe, Dexter at Lawrence.
Pinchos Kahana, who arrived
last week by plane from Eretz
Israel, will report on latest devel-
opments in the Yishuv. Morris
Subar, who recently visited in
Palestine, will relate his experi-
ences.
The anniversary dinner of Miz-
rachi will be held Sunday eve-
ning, Feb. 29, in the social hall
of Shaarey Zedek. Yankele Led-
erman will be the soloist. A na-
tionally known Mizrachi leader
will address the gathering.
Sol B. Edelman has been ap-
pointed chairman of the ticket
committee of the dinner. Joe
Weiss heads the anniversary book
committee with Aaron Tilchin.
They are assisted by Sol Chinitz,
in charge of reservations, Philip
Stollman, Israel Levenson, Mor-
ris Snow, J. Lawton, J. Land-
garten, G. Goldsmith, Isadore
Sosnick, Morris Subar, J. Nosan-
chuk, I. Kaner, I. S. L. Levine
and Rabbi David Bakst.
Pharmaceutical Association will
meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb.
16, at the Jewish Home for the
Aged, to advance its program of
support for the pharmacy at the
Home.
The meeting will be in the form
of a "drug shoWer" and admis-
sion will be by contribution of
items currently needed at the
Home. Edward Rothenberg, UN.

A feature-length film will be
shown and refreshments will com-
plete the evening's program.
