Lack of Institutionality
At Home for the Aged

. "The only value of any big
building or any beautiful grounds
for a home for aged is the result
in terms of the happiness of the
people who are cared for in the
home," Morris Zelditch, director
of'social planning of the Council
of Jewish Federations and Wel-
fare Funds, emphasized in his
talk before the combined boards
of the Jewish Home for Aged and
its Ladies Auxiliary, Jan. 29.
"Your agency is special from
this viewpoint," Zelditch said,
"because you have had the cour-
age and foresight to put both
money and work into the hone to
make this not an institution; . but
a h-o-m-e."

Even the 'Syrian Defense Min-
ister has repeated the same in-
tention. Haganah sources assert
that the gathering of the Black
International in Syria can be ob-
