gency, INFANTS' SERVICE
GROUP has allotted an additional
$500 to the Child Rescue Fund
and $500 to Youth Aliyah. Han-
ukah gifts of toys, clothing and
candy. have been distributed to
the children of case families and

German States Repeal
Law on Jewish Names
STUTTGART (JTA)—The coun-
cil of German minigter-presidents
of the three states and Bremen in
the U. S. zone of Germany have_
repealed a Nazi racial law of 1938,
which -required all Jews to adopt
the identifying first name of Israel
or Sarah. Thee council also or-
dered the restoration of citizen-
ship to all persons who were de-
- prived of it for political or racial
reasons.
The repeal of the name legisla-•
lion merely made official a•policy
which exists in all four zones of
Germany. •
