Eternal Light Presents
Script on Jordan River
The Eternal Light program will
mark the 30th anniversary of
Balfour Day with a radio drama
by Iry Tunick, distinguished ra-
dio writer, entitled "The River
Jordan," based upon material
drawn from Dr. Nelson Glueck's
book of the same name, at 8
a. m. Sunday, Nov. 9, on station
WWJ.
Dr. Glueck, president of He-
brew College in Cincinnati, is
the noted theologian and arche-
ologist, whose excavations in the
Transjordan region in 1932 revis-
ed all modern knowledge of East-
ern Palestine in antiquity. "The
River Jordan" broadcast tells of
"that fantastic river and its amaz-
ing valley," 3600 feet below the
level of the sea, which have left
their mark on more than 50,000
years of human history.
