A sweet-sixteen birthday luncheon. was given Oct. 5 by Mr. and
Mrs. Harry A. Krandall of San Juan Dr. honoring their daughter,
Ruth Muriel.
Preceding her marriage to Rubin Zissman, Barbara Leib was
entertained by Mrs. S. Leib, Mrs. M. Leib, Mrs. M. Zissman, Mrs. S.
Briesblatt and Mrs. M. Lewis.
- Mrs. Frances Golumbia and Mrs. Edna Zieger are vacationing in
Miami Beach, Fla., and in Cuba.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Metz and family are . now residing 'in
Phoenix, Ariz. Before their departure they were entertained at fare-
well parties given by Mrs. Harry Metz of Taylor Ave. and Mrs. Hy
Shebowich of Highland Ave.
. Miss Fern Metz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.,Harry Metz of Taylor
Ave., left for Ann Arbor to resume her studieS os a junior at the
University of Michigan, majoring in physics.
Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Zivian are in Toronto for the marriage of
their daughter, Helen, to Gilbert Lavine Oct. 10 at the King 'Edward
Hotel.
Mrs. S. Lambert Brown has moved from Lucerne Dr. and is now
residing at the Lee Crest Apt.
Mrs. Fred Ginsburg of Chicago Blvd. left on Friday. for Chicago
where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Ruskin.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert G. Blumberg (Jane Hartman), who have
been making their home with her parents, are now residing at 17509
Manderson Rd.
Mrs. Seymour Lewis of Gladstone, Mich.,. is spending 10 days as
the guest of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leon _G,
Winkelman.

Allan H. Kline, spent the last week-end visiting with friends in
Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. S. jack Albert of Muirland, Ave. left on Tuesday
for Lose Angeles, Calif., where they plan to make their home.
Mrs. Ervin Greenbaum of Glynn Ct. has returned from Mil:
waukee where she joined her husband for a few days.
Mrs. Sidney Silverman has moved from Burlingame Ave. and,
is now residing at the LeeCrest Apt.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sacks of Dexter Blvd. have returned from
a - brief visit in Cleveland.
Miss Betty, Waldvogel of Columbus, Tex., is attending the
Merrill Palmer Training School.
• Mr. and Mrs. Gordon- Pullam of Toronto have been guests for a
few weeks at the Book-Cadillae Hotel while visiting her brother-in-
law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Croll of W. Chicago Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gunsberg of Woodingham Dr. left on Mon-
day for a 10-day visit in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Garon of Stoepel Ave. are spending the
week-end in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Dickman and their son, Bobby, have returned
to their home in Albany after a few weeks' visit with her -parents,

Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Schuman have moved from Beaconsfield
Ave. and are now residing at 18700 Monica Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. John L. Brown of Strathcona Dr. have returned
from Highland Park, Ill., where they visited their son-in-law and

Dr, and Mrs. David I. Sugar of Carter Ave. have returned from
a few days' visit in Ann Arbor.
Mr. and Mrs. David H. Yaffe have moved from Beaconsfield Ave.

Mrs. David B. Werbe, consult-
ant of the Jewish Community
Art School, announces the .2.7th
annual exhibition of Detroit Jew-
ish artists, to be held at the
Center from Oct. 21 to Nov. 4.
The Center Art School which
has pioneered in the develop-
ment of Jewish artists, is anxious
to bring some of these artists
to the attention of the public.
Jewish artists in Detroit may
submit paintings for this exhibi-
tion. Each artist is limited to two
paintings.
