Marriages

LASKY-RUBINER: The Frank-
lin Hills Country Club was the
scene of a beautifully appointed
candlelight wedding last Monday
evening, when Marianne Rubi-
ner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Rubiner of yuirland
Ave., became the bride of Harold
Robert Lasky, son of Mr. and
Mrs. M. Lasky of Beverly Hills,
Calif. Rabbi Morris Adler per-
formed the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of an-
, tique ivory satin fashioned with
a long bodice and full skirt. It
had a deep yoke of rosepointe lace
which had been worn by her
mother and grandmother at their
marriages, and rosepointe cuffs
finished the long pointed sleeves.
Her veil of illusion fell from a
halo of matching lace and cov-
ered the wide circular train of
her gown. She carried a bouquet
of yellow-tipped white orchids.
Kathryn Rubiner was her sis-
ter's maid of honor, and the
bridesmaids were Elaine Kohn,
Lois Goldman and two former
classmates at the University of
Miami, Elaine Cohen of Phila-
delphia and Dorothy Knapp of
Freeport, L. I.
Harrison Lasky served his
brother as best man. Their cou-
sin, Maury Delman of New York,
Kaye Frank and Arthur Rubiner,
cousins of the bride, and Murray
Drucker of Brooklyn, -seated the
guests.
For their honeymoon Mr. and
Mrs. Lasky are motoring to Van-
couver. They will make their
home in Beverly Hills.
