Leonard Kaste Assists
At Nuptials of Brother

`Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Marks of Broadstreet Blvd. are spending 10
days motoring through Wisconsin where they will visit their son,
Lee, who is at a camp near Minocqua.
Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Liberman of Santa Barbara Dr. have left
to spend a few weeks in Charlevoix.
,Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Winkelman of Roselawn Ave. returned on
Tuesday from a 10..day motor trip through northern Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Krohn of Whitmore Rd. and Mr. and Mrs.
DeRoy Kuttnauer of Fairfield Ave. are motoring through the New
England States.

Fairfield Ave., left on Tuesday for Gladstone. Mich., where he will
be the guest of his grandmother, Mrs. Henry Rosenblum.
Mr. and Mrs.„Harold Desenberg of Wisconsin Ave. had as their
guests Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brown of Corning, N. Y.
Miss Freda Rosenthal of the Seward Apt. is leaving this Friday
fora fortnight in Gloucester, Mass.
Spending the week fishing at Georgian Bay are Milton Marks,
Ben Shwayder, Maurice Mein, Louis Lasky, Melvin Conheim, Isador
Winkelman; Alvin Winkelman of Port Huron, Hy G. Schlafer and
Tobias Coskey of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Sanford E. Saperstein returned on Tuesday to her home in
Chattanooga, Tenn., after a visit with her brother-in-law and sister,'
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glasier of Woodingham Dr. She was accompanied
home by Mrs. Glasier and her daughters, Mary and Dorothy, who
will visit there for a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Grossman of Boston Blvd. are spending

tioning in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Lewis have returned from Gladstone, Mich.,
where they were the guests of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Seymour Lewis.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Horowitz of Leslie Ave. have as their guests
Mrs. Lena Sigler of San Diego, Calif., and the Misses Phyllis and
Elaine Levy of Pittsburgh.
Mary Saks of 15353 Quincy has returned from a week-end visit
in Chicago.
The Pidyan ha Ben of Garry Howard Gaines, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Herman Gaines of 12835 Petoskey,- took place Sunday, July 20,
at Bel Aire. In honor of the occasion, Joseph A. Block, president of
Cong. Bnai David and grandfather of the child, donated $100 .to the
Jewish National Fund.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Milkovsky Kaplan of BrOoklyn, N. Y., are
guests of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Becker, to attend the
Bar Mitzvah of their grandson, Allan Gene, Aug. 2 at Beth Aaron
Synagogue. Other out-of-town guests who will attend include Mrs.
B. Epstein, Mrs. R. Salhaw and Mrs. L Manesewich of Rochester,
N. Y.; Sam Becker of Brooklyn, Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Levine of
Jeanette. Pa., and Eva Danis of Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Becker invite members of Cong. Beth
Aaron and the Sisterhood to attend the.services and kiddush follow-
ing this Saturday morning in honor of the Bar Mitzvah of their son,
Allan Gene.
Mrs. Irving I. Edgar is visiting her daughter, Joyce Elaine, at
the National MusIZ Camp in Interlochen, Mich.
Dr. and Mrs. Louis E. Kamin and children, Frannie and Blair, of
2247 W. Boston Blvd., have returned from their vacation at Frank-

to initiate regular passenger

The bride chose a gown of
sheer white Alencon lace with a
fitted bodice and short train. Her
veil of illusion was held in place
by a matching lace tiara. She
carried a prayerbook with white
orchids and stephanotis.
The bride's attendants were
Shirley Dunitz, maid of honor,
and Natalie Zemon, Marilyn Ko-
pel, Carolyn Greenberg, Barbara
Platsky .and Harriet Greenberg,
bridesmaids. Barbara Kasle and
Judy Jones were flower girls.
Leonard Kasle also served his
brother as best man, and Ben
