The Allied Jewish Campaign is
many things to many people:
To the Jewish victim of w and tyranny it is the lifeline
which rescues him from death;
To the displaced Jews wandering over the face of Europe
it brings the hope of a home;
To the Jewish immigrant in Palestine it is a companion in
the building of a new life in a flowering Jewish culture;
To the new American it is the welcoming committee that
helps to absorb him into the land of freedom;
To American Jewry it is a sentinel of democracy, protecting
the civil rights of minorities;
