In announcing the resignation
of Harry Stutz from the Jewish
Center staff, Herman Jacobs,
executive director, paid tribute to
him for his contributions to the
Center. Stutz

was in charge of
the membership
and publicity de-
partments.
"Under the
leadership of Mr.
Stutz, member-
ship files were
brought to date,
a complete re-
minder system
was introduced,
and a series of Harry Stutz
original and attractive letters was
designed to keep each member
posted on the status of his mem-
bership. These letters have at-
tracted national attention and
will be given widespread circu-
lation by the National Jewish
Welfare Board," Mr. Jacobs said.
Under Stutz' direction, the
Center News was expanded to
a four page tabloid newspaper.
"In each of these programs,
Mr. Stutz worked directly and
intimately with the Membership
and Publicity Committee. Louis
Tabashnik and Ben F. Wigder,
respective chairmen of these com-
mittees, and their associates did
outstanding work in these de-
partments, - Jacobs added.
