CLEVELAND. — The Euclid
Avenue Temple will celebrate its
100th birthday by making gifts
to five Cleveland welfare organi-
zations representing all denom-
inations and the Negro commun-
ity, it is announced by Judge
Maurice Bernon, president of the
congregation.
The presentations will be made
at the 100th annual meeting of
the congregation this Sunday
evening. Recipient organizations
are: Greater Cleveland Hospital
Fund, Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion, Catholic Charities, Cleve-
land Welfare Federation, and
Karamu House, Negro settle-
ment.
Mayor Thomas A. Burke of
Cleveland, will accept the gifts
on behalf of the beneficiaries.
Gov. Frank J. Lausche will be
present at the celebration.
