In an impressive ceremony ac-
companied by the singing of Can-
tor Liebele Waldman and his
symphonic choir from New York,
Frances Nusbaum, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. A. Nusbaum of
Glendale Ave., became the bride
of Joseph Fetter of Calvert Ave.,
Nov. 3, at Shaarey Zedek.
Rabbi Morris Adler and Rabbi
Joseph Humin solemnized the
marriage at an altar covered with
flowing palms studded with baby
mums and illuminated to sug-
gest the soft glow of candlelight.
The bride wore a Jay Thorpe
original gown of old ivory satan
fashioned with a modified sweet-
heart neckline, closely-fitted bo-
dice and accentuated shoulders
draping into tight sleeving about
the wrist. She wore a long trail-
ing veil of antique rose point lace
and carried white orchids on a
white Bible with streamers of
stephanotis. She wore a tiera
of rose point lace firmly styled
in a crown effect.
Helen Fetter of Los Angeles,
sister of the bridegroom, was
maid of honor. Mrs. Alice Nus-
baum was matron of honor. Al
Fetter of Los Angeles, was best
man. The nine-boy choir, under
the direction of Oscar Julius, ac-
companied Cantors Waldman and
Joseph Sonenklar down the aisle
preceding the marriage proces-
sion and then served as ushers.
