In offering complete health service -
North End Clinic maintains a phar-
macy and employs a dietitian. When
patients are required to have 'special
foods, the dietitian makes out an indi-
vidual diet with regard to the patient's
nationality, religion, and economic
status. Additional food allowances are
secured for patients on relief. The

Volunteers : First to
meet new patients are
members of the volun-
teer committee, Mrs.
Joseph Hartman (above),
c h a i r m a n. Volunteers
create an atmosphere of
friendliness, as they
serve as receptionists and
take charge of routing.
Some committee mem-
bers are trained to record
weight, height and tern-
perature of patients.
