the Center opens its fifth season
of major dances w_th dance num-
ber 33 in the auditorium, Sunday,
Oct. 13, at 9 p. m. Sukkoth will
be the theme. Phil Brestoff and
his WXYZ orchestra will provide
the music. Estelle Starr Herman
is the Holiday Hop chairman.

BUILDING TRADES DIVISION LEADERS AT ORGANIZATIONAL BRUNCH

A bagel and lox brunch provided an informal
background for the second organizational meet-
ing of the Building Trades Division of the Detroit
Service Group last Sunday in the Jewish Center.
Barney Smith, division campaign co-chairman,
presided at -the meeting.
In describing the purposes of DSG re-organiza-
tion, Isidore Sobeloff, executive director of the
JeWish Welfare Federation, pointed out that
