section of the city or suburbs you choose. Just
so there will be no misunderstanding, remember
hours are long and there is no pay—except the
priceless knowledge that you stepped forward
instead of back when the call for help to needy
fellow folk was sounded in your home town.

Mrs. Alexander Orkin of Cleve-

tral Region of the Pioneer Wom-
en's Organization, together with

plans for the regional conference
to take place in Detroit Oct. 19
and 20 at the Detroit-Leland
Hotel,
The East Central Region of the
Pioneer Women's Organization is
comprised of 29 clubs in Indiana,
Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and
'Western Pennsylvania.
The formal opening of the con-
ference will be held in the main
ballroom of the hotel at a lunch-
eon on Saturday, 0 t. 19, at which
the 21st anniversary of the Pio-
nee• Women's Organization will
be celebrated.
Business sessions will begin
early Saturday morning and will
continue throughout the latter
part of the afternoon and eve-
ning, and all day Sunday.
Mrs. Isra•l Goldstein, of the
Pioneer Women's Organization
