Breakfast Meeting
In order to mobilize the syna-
gogues, a conference of rabbis,
president and vice-presidents of
local congregations will be held
on Sunday morning, Sept. 22,
at a breakfast meeting at Fin-
kell's Restaurant, Linwood and
Taylor. Rabbis and synagogue

Announce Fall Openings

Windsor's Jewish community is
getting its fall programs under
way. Member organizations of the

Community Council are planning
their opening meetings.
The Youth Council has resumed
its fall program with Hy Muroff
serving as director.
Lillian Frieman Hadassah chap-
ter will meet Sept. 18 with Mrs,
Anna Raginsky, president of
Canadian Hadassah, as the speak-

Windsor Bnai Brith Lodge will
meet Sept. 18.

President Truman Endorses
"Jewish Education Month"
NEW YORK, (JTA)—Designed
to stimulate Jewish parents to
give their children a religious ed-
ucation, "Jewish Education
Month" began with a message of
endorsement by President Tru-
man, addressed to the American
Association for Jewish Education.
The President's message reads as
