Hawaii Servicemen
Stand Behind Yishuv

NEW - YORK.-From all over the
world, expressions of solidarity
with the Jewish community in
Palestine and encouragement in
its valiant struggle for survival
continue to flow into the offices
of the Zionist Organization of
America.
Latest to be heard from are
Jewish servicemen stationed in the
mid-Pacific. In a cable addressed
to Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, president
of the ZOA, Chaplain Morris M.
Mathews declares, that 'the Jew-
ish service personnel in the Ha-
waiian Islands stand behind the
vigilant flank of Palestinian Jew-
ry."

Chaplain Mathews is former
rabbi of the Community Syna-
gogue Center here.
