A reception and mass meeting
are being planned here to wel-
come to Detroit the delegation of
-the Jewish Central Committee in
Poland which has just arrived in
this -country, at a meeting to be
held Sunday, June 23.
The delegation is headed by Dr.
Emil Sommerstein, president of
the Jewish Central Committee in
Poland. It includes nine other
spokesmen for Polish Jewry.
Members of the delegation will
describe conditions in Poland,- at
the mass meeting which is being
arranged under auspices of the
Detroit Section of the American
Jewish Congress.
A city-wide committee is being
formed to include representatives
of the three Congress chapters
here, the Jewish People's Frater-
nal Order, Bnai Brith and Lands-
manshaften.
Further details will be an-
nounced next week.
