Hundreds of workers for the
Junior Division's part in the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign were re-
cruited at a general meeting of
the division Thursday in the main
auditorium of the Jewish Center.
The Division's function was ex-
plained by the newly elected offi-
cers. A social hour including
dancing and refreshments fol-
lowed.
Eight divisions are being or-
ganized by the Junior Service
Group of the Jewish Welfare
Federation in order to assure full
participation on the part of young
people in the Emergency Allied
Jewish Campaign. Heading the
drive is campaign chairman Sol
J. Schwartz. He is assisted by
Richard B. Kramer, vice-chair-
man, and Dr. Samuel Krohn, who
are in charge of two groups of
four divisions each.
Heading the special gifts divi-
sion are Henry N. Ehrlich and
Alex J. Etkin, e6 - chairmen, and
Goldie Levinstein, secretary.
Mrs. Max Chomsky and Monte
Korn are co-chairmen and Miriam
Coggan is secretary of the organi-
zations division which will reach
youth organizations during the
campaign for education and soli-

medical necessities for European survivors was described in a dis-
