Ladies' Auxiliary of the Jewish National Fund, now in
the process of completing its plans for the annual donor
event which will be concluded with the major event of the
year on Tuesday evening, Jan. 22, at the Masonic Temple,
is aiming at reaching a goal which will conclude the project
begun last year of establishing the Nachlath Ladies' Auxil-
iary of the Jewish National Fund°

. Dr. Nussbaum is a graduate
of the Breslau Jewish Theologic-
al Seminary where he received
his Rabbinical degree in January,
1944. He studied at the Uni-
versities of Breslau, Berlin,
Wuertzberg and Heidelberg, and
received his Ph.D. in Philosophy
with summa cum laude award.
• At the age of 25, Dr. Nuss-
14aum was called to Berlin to
serve as Rabbi of the Great Jew-
ish Congregation of Berlin where
he stayed from 1934 to 1940. He
was at that time the youngest
Rabbi in Germany.

Lectured in Europe
' Dr. Nussbaum lectured ex-
tensively throughout Europe and
was a regular contributor to the
German, Jewish • and European
Jewish press. During those years,
he published a book on the
Philosophy of Max Adler and the
Nationalism of Yehuda Ha' Levi.
He was connected with the Zion-
ist organization from his early
youth and was a member of the
