A Ribbentrop Story

Here is an interesting story
about Joachim von Ribbentrop,
one of the Nazi gangsters. This
story may throw some light on
Russo-German relations before
Hitler's attack. While Ribbentrop
was in Russia he met—unwilling- .
ly—Commissar for Mines (and
oil) Kaganovitch, who is a Jew.

"It must be strange for you to -
negotiate with a Jew," said Kag-
anovitch.

"In Russia," said Ribbentrop,
"you are for me just the Russian
Commissar. National Socialism is
too good for export. Can you say
that for Communism?"
