Prior to entering service on Sept.
10, 1943, Pfc. Eserow was asso-
ciated with his father and brother
in -the Detroit Colision Works.
He went overseas in June of
1944: Attached to the 121st In-
fantry, 13th . Division, he was the
recipient of the Purple Heart.
Pfc. Eserow was respected and
honored by all and his memory
will ever serve as an inspiration
to those who knew him.
- He is survived by his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Eserow;
his wife, Rachel; daughter, Har- ,
riet; brother, Jack; and a sister,
Mrs: Etta Pastor.

despite the danger of ammunition

relatives as to the final resting
places of soldiers killed in action
and will assure military honors
to those war dead who are re-
turned to this country for burial.
This announcement was made
by Mancel Talcott, chairman of
the National Graves Registration
Committee of the Legion, upon
his return from an inspection of
military cemeteries in 12 Euro-
pean countries.
He said that the cemeteries he
had seen abroad were beautifully
landscaped and that crosses or
the Stars of David which mark
the graves, bear the name, outfit
and date of death of the occu-
pant.
