SHERUTH LEAGUE at a re-
cent meeting held at the home
of Mrs. Marjorie Hack of 19190
Indiana Ave., appointed Mrs.
Allan Barron war bond chair-
man. The sweet committee, head-
ed by Mrs. Irving Simms, is in
charge of sending gifts to hus-
bands and brothers in service.
The league has received many
letters of appreciation from ser-
vicemen who have been the re-
cipients. Miss Annabel German-
sky of 18659 Pennington Dr. was
hostess to the board on July 3.
Plans for the coming season's ac-
tivities were discussed. The
next meeting will be held at
the home of Mrs. H. Shapiro,
17503 Indiana Ave.

JEWISH WOMEN'S EURO-
PEAN WELFARE ORGANIZA-
TION will have a tag day in Mt.
Clemens Sunday, proceeds to be_
used for the society's program of
aiding orphans in this country
and Palestine. A special meeting
will be . held at 1 p. m. Monday
at the Bnai Moshe to make final
arrangements for the picnic to
take place Sunday, July 29, at
Palmer Park.

EAST SIDE BNAI BRITH
WOMEN will hold their annual
picnic at 1 p. m. Sunday at
Chandler Park. The Bnai Brith
banner will lead to the wading
pool. There will be games and
prizes for children and adults.

The bride chose a gown, of
traditional white satin fash-
ioned with a yoke of illusion

Her fingertip veil was held by
a juliet cap of satin trimmed
in seed pearls. She carried white
orchids on a white prayer book.
Mrs. Lydia Faudem, sister of
the groom, was matron-of-
honor.
The bridesmaids were Miss
