Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Bachman have returned from Atlantic City
where Dr. Bachman became a diplomate of the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Women's Division of the Am-
erican Jewish Congress will have'
a luncheon on Wednesday, at 1:30
p. m., at Huyler's in the Fisher
Building.

Mrs. Morris Fox and her two sons, Herbert Alan and Charles
David, have arrived from Los Angeles to visit Mrs. Fox's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Goldstein of LaS:ile Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. LaPides and daughters have moved
from N. Martindale and are now residing at 18949 Indiana Ave.
Miss Anita June Bell of Hollywood, formerly of Detroit,
is now residing with her aunt and uncle,
Calif.,Mr. and Mrs. Rudy
LoPatin of 249 Voorheis Rd., Pontiac.
_ Lt. Ben Tkatch was home on a 10-day furlough which he spent
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Tkatch of 2923 Clements.
He has left for camp at Big Springs, Tex.

a national reputation for her
interfaith work as co-editor of
the "Guide to American Social
Problems" published by Colum-
bia University. She is responsible
for the organization of "Religion
at Work in a Community" in
New York and Philadelphia, and
originated the idea of "Inter-
racial Caravans" organized in
various boroughs of New York.

A supper party was given on Sunday by Pauline Nathan of
16207 Wildemere who has returned from a year's stay as an art
student at the University of Michigan. Miss Nathan will spend
the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dore Nathan.
Cpl. and Mrs. Herbert W. Goldstrom spent a two-week fur-
lough with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Levinson of Tuxedo
Ave. and Mr. and Mrs. Max Goldstrom of Muirland Ave. Cpl.
and Mrs. Goldstrom were in New York for six weeks during which
Cpl. Goldstrom did special detail work for the Army Air Forces.
They have returned to Laredo, Tex., where he is stationed doing
research work in psychology.
