Harry Frank.

to felicitate Mr. Frank next-Mon-
day, May- 14, on the occasion of
his 65th birthday.
Looking younger than his Years,
Mr. Frank continues as one of
the most active leaders in De-.
troit Jewry. His rise to his pre-

deavor•s; Mr. Frank has served
without regard to race, color or
religion.

services, Mr. Frank's charities
and philanthropies always are on
top. In addition to his contribu-
tions, he has served on various
boards of directors, committees
and campaigns for charitable, re-
ligious and educational institu-
tions, including the Allied Jewish
Campaign, Detroit Community
Fund, War Chest; Detroit . Service
Group, Congregation ShaOr e-y
Zedek and Franklin Hills Colin-
try,Club.
Most recent of.his activities has
been his' affiliation with the
initial group which sponsored
and campaigned for Detroit's pro ,
jected Jewish hospital. '
Conservative and sound in his
Views and appraisals, his obser-
vations and counsel have been
sought and obtained in matters
which have had an important ef-
fect upon the lives of otherS. He
has served withotit fan-fare,
preferring to remain in the back-
ground.
He married Rebecca Jacob,
daughter of the late sAbrarn
Jacob, a pioneer Detroiter. They
have three daughters, Ruth, who
is Mrs. Milton Gordon; Florence,
who is Mrs. Maurice Druker, and
Dorothy, who is Mrs. Samuel
Rubiner. There are seven grand-
children.
Mr. Frank is an ardent golfer.
