TRIBUTE TO ROOSEVELT
By Florence Wolkin

On April the twelfth, in the year '45
Franklin Roosevelt ceased to be alive.
His name will go down in history
For he gave his life for his country.
His personality. his smile, and voice
were magnificent
The things he did were of the
_
greatest significance.
He loved all kinds of people, no
matter what race or creed
On every foreign land he was the
greatest American seed.
In years to come, his name will
bring tears to our eyes.
For never did a country love a 111i. •
so great and so wise.
