To Mosaic Chapter
During • the district conclave
held in the Ionic Temple on
April 20, 21, and 22, B. J. Meir-
ow, Deputy representative of
Grand Lodge of the Order of De-
Molay for Michigan, assisted by
his District Deputy, Al Harrison,
presented Mosaic Chapter Order
of DeMolay with a plaque for
being the outstanding chapter in
the district for 1944-45, because
of the excellent work done by
the chapter during the last year.
Mosaic Chapter was also award-
ed first prize for its outstanding
initiatory degree team.
On Saturday evening, in the
Oratorical contest, Mosaic Chap-
ter's representative, Sol Silver,
was runner-up, and received an
award for his good performance
on the subject "Filial Love".
On May 5, in the Masonic Tem-
ple, the new officers of Mosaic
Chapter will be installed, under
the leadership of Leon Elkind,
master councillor. Other officers
to be installed are Austin Kanter,
senior councillor, and Marvin
Fuller, junior councillor.
Mosaic Chapter meets every
Monday evening in the Masonic
Temple.
