Shoes for Paris:
The people of France,
like civilian popula-
tions in all of liberated Europe, need clothing. The JDC, as
part of Itor program of - lehabilitation, has just sent 25,000 pairs
of men's, women's and children's shoes from New York to
Paris for distribution to French Jews. Shown her is a-MC
staff member inspecting shoes prior to having them packed,
for shipment overseas. JDC also purchased 30,000 pairs of
shoes in Palestine for Jews in Romania and Bulgaria.
