In Palestine; Honor
Mrs. Isaacs' Memory
One thousand trees will be
planted in Palestine in memory
of Mrs. Giza Isaacs, who passed
away just a few weeks ago.
Harry Schumer acted as chair-
man of a committee composed
of Alex Nichamin, Nathaniel Per-
nick, Charles C. Jacoby and Mrs.
Areva Ginsberg. A total sum of
$1,500 has been raised for this
memorial proje6t.
Organizations who participated
in creating this fund were the
Michigan Linen Supply Board of
Trade, Auslander Family Club
and Arlazaroff Branch 137 of
Jewish National Workers' Alli-
ance.
Mrs. Isaacs was an active work-
er in behalf, of Zionism and,
despite her age, had been active
in various movements - in the re-
building of Palestine. -
John Isaacs, one of the sur-
viving sons, president of the
Michigan Linen Supply Board of
Trade, serves as a member of the
executive board of Arlazaroff
Branch and is treasurer of Aus-
lander Family Club, of which
Mrs. Isaacs, during her lifetime,
was the oldest member.
The committee announced that
a certificate will be presented to
the Isaacs Family, indicating the
forest memorial, which will be
established in Palestine. A for-
mal presentation will be made at
a date to be announce• later. All
contributors to- this fund will be
notified and invited to attend
these ceremonies.
The committee has extended
thanks to the above named or-
ganizations and to all contribu-
tors who have made possible the
raising of this fund in less than
four weeks.

He was then, for five years,
Rector of Trinity Church, New
Rochelle, N. Y., and for the past
six years has held his present
post as Rector of Christ's Church,
Rye, N. Y.
