Judge Frank A. Picard, chairman of the Michigan chap-
ter of the American Palestine Commttee, the Christian
pro-Palestine movement, will introduce Herbert A. Mowat,
chairman of the Canadian Palestine Committee at a public
fmeeting of the Zionist Organization of Detroit on Tuesday
evening, Oct. 31, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.

tians to present briefs in behalf
of a Jewish Commonwealth in
Palestine to the Prime Minister
of Canada, and to the Depart-•
meat of External Affairs. He is
an outstanding writer contribut-
ing regularly to "Toronto Satur 7
day Night," "Magazine Digest"
and "Empire Digest," and is
heard over the Dominion Net-
• work of the CBS.
He is about to publish . a book

Anthoni, former Helsinki police
chief and aid to the Gestapo in
Finland, "the first war criminal
to appear on Swedish territory,"
has been classed an "undesirable
foreigner" by. Swedish authorit-
ies and will be returned to Fin-
land, the British radio reported.
Anthoni was reported to have
gone beyond the orders of the
pro-Axis Finnish government,
which removed him after dis-
covering that he had embezzled
funds confiscated from the Jews.
