On Oct. 30, at 8:30 p, m., at the home of Joseph - Koller. 4045
Buena Vista, Max Chomsky and his bride to be, Miss Bertha Belkin,
will be feted by members of the Hapoel Hamizrachi of Detroit, in
honor of their forthcoming marriage which will be held at the Bnai
Moshe Congregation on Nov. 5. Mr. Chomsky is president of Hapoel

Friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brody of
17537 Muirland Ave. on Sunday evening, to honor their son, Cpl.,
Robert Brody, who flew in for the week-end from Camp •Van Dorn,
Miss., where he is at present training with the Engineeing Division.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Allen of Lincolnshire Dr. and Mr. and Mrs.
Abraham Srere of Boston Blvd. have invited a group of friends for
cocktails and dinner at the Book Cadillac this Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. David Wilkus of Boston Blvd. returned Tuesday
from Hot Springs, Ark.
Aaron Klein of Boston Blvd. and his children, Mr. and Mrs.
Maurice Klein, Miss Julia Klein and Victor Klein, have returned
from Cleveland where they attended the marriage of Miss. Hermine
Klein, Mr. Klein's niece, and Pfc. Julius L. Cohen of Staten Island,
N. Y., last Saturday evening.

Michigan on a-scholarship.

hold open house Sunday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m., in
honor of their sons, T/Sgt. Nathaniel and Pit. Norman, who are
home on furlough.
Sarabelle Jalan and Barbara Glasier will leave this Friday to
take up their studies at the University of Miami, Coral Gables,
