- WASHINGTON (JTA) — The

Film of Russia Opens
Adventure Series Here

AdVenture again invades De-
troit as the World Adventure
series, the public motion picture-
lecture programs at the Detroit
Institute of Arts, Woodward at
Kirby, prepares to open . its
eleventh season Sunday after-
noon, at 3:30 o'clock.
The World Adventure series
will feature a 100,000 mile mo-
tion picture tour of Russia. The
narrator will be Julien Bryan,
one of the best informed authori-
ties on Russia.

Bellaire Will Discuss
Japan at Town Hall

Japan's fate after the war will
be discussed by Robert Bellaire,
former United Press chief in
Tokyo, in his lecture at Detroit
Town Hall in the Fisher theater,
Wednesday morning, Oct. 18. His
subject will be "Jap Victory
Plan."
