Mrs. David J. Levy and her daughter, Betty, of West Boston
Blvd. returned on Friday from Woodmere, L. I. where they visited
with Mrs. Levy's son and daughter-in-law,, Nir. and Mrs. David
J. Levy Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gilbert who have been spending the sum-
mer in Charlevoix were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert J. Newman of Canterbury Rd.
Mrs. A. M. Kondritzer of Cincinnati is spending a month with
her son-in-law and daughter, Mr, and Mrs. Gerald May of Wilde-
mere Ave.
Dr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Smith and their sons, Jerry and
Richard Allen, of Shrewsbury Rd. have returned from Goderich,
Ont., where they spent the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. H: C. Broder and their sons ,Brewster and Bill,
of Lawrence Ave. have returned from Charlevoix where they spent
the summer.
Miss Eiga Hershman has returned from New York City for an
extended visit with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. M; Hershman of
Calvert Ave.
Miss Nancy Levin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Levin of
Muirland Ave. will leave next Wednesday for Annedale, N. Y.;
where she will matriculate at Bard College. •
Mr. and Mrs. L. M. 'Manley who spent a few days as the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. FeliX Mahler of Whitmore Ind. enroute from Macki-
nac Island, have returned to their home in New York City.
Mrs. Walter Laib. and her daughters, Janet and Dean, of Strath-
cona Dr. will leave next Wednesday to spend a short time in New
York City, from where Dean. will go on to Philadelphia where she
will enter the George School.
Mr. and Mrs. Burton Clamage of San Juan Dr. have returned
from Long Beach, Cal. where they visited their son and daughter-
in-law, Lt. (j.g.) and Mrs. Irwin Clamage.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Morris of Burlingame Ave: have returned
from a fortnight's stay
in Charlevoix.

Mrs. Stanley Winkelman (Peggy Wallace) of Canterbury Rd.
has left to join her husband, Ensign Winkelman in Tuscon, Ariz..
Mrs. Oscar Blumberg of Glynn Ct. will return this Friday from
Charlevoix where she spent the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Quint of Oak Dr.. are spending 10 days
in Kenyon, Mich.
Mrs. A. M. Ermann of Merton Rd. is' visiting her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph. Ulman , of Cincinnati.
Capt. Lewis B. Daniels, who is stationed in New York City,
IS on leave visiting with Mrs. Daniels and their daughter, Lois, of
Warrington Dr. • •• '
Mrs. Rose Lipson of Merton Rd. returned on Monday from an
extended visit in New York City and Boston.
Mrs. Saul Jacob of Syracuse, N. Y., is the guest of her brother-
in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Hyman E. Jacob - of Longfellow Ave.
Mr: and Mrs. Irving L. Goldman, their daughter, Cecily, and
their son, Roger, Of Muirland Ave. have returned from Charlevoix
where they spent the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Lorre of Kentucky Ave. are spending
a week on Lake Michigan.
Mrs. Albert Rabin returned on Sunday. to her home in New
York - City following a fortnight's visit with her brother-in-law and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Pregerson of Webb Ave.
Capt. Perry Goldman, who •recentjy returned from two years
in New Guinea and - Australia, is spending a month's leave with
Mrs. Goldman and their son,. Sidney, in their home on Princeton Ave.
before reporting to his post at the School of Aviation Medicine, at
Randolph Field, Tex.
Mr. - and Mrs. Max Karp ,who have been guests . at the Wardell-
Sheraton Hotel for the summer months have returned to their honie
in Los. AngeleS. .
Mrs. Benjamin Fink oche ' Lee Plaia. Apt. has returned froth a
stay in Charlevoix.
Miss Henrietta.Bworsky has returned to her home in Lorain, O.,:
.following a few.. days visit with' Miss Dorothy Lazar of Sturtevant.
Mr. and Mrs. -Morris Straus's have returned to their home in
Cleveland following a week's visit with members of their family.
Mrs. Harry Wine has returned. to her home in BridgePOrt, Conn.;
followinu a fortnight's visit with relatives and friends. While • here

Mrs. J. D. Rosenberg of the Belcrest Hotel and Mrs. Meyer
Barnett of Euclid Ave. have returned from Chicago, MilWaukee and
Fort Wayne, Ind., Where they visited with members of their family.
Dr. and Mrs, Samuel Croll of Chicago Blvd. have returned from
Cedar -Beach, Ont., Where they. spent the summer.

On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 3,
Miss Gertrude Marcia Pregerson,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron
M. Pregerson, was united in mar-
riage to David M. Bruss, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Bruss, in
the main auditorium of Shaarey
Zedek Synagogue.

The ceremony was performed
by Rabbi A. M. Hershman before
an embankment of white gladi-
olas and 'mums.
The bride was lovely in a white
satin wedding gown and carried
a Bible decorated with white
orchids and valley lilies.
Miss Judy Pregerson, sister of
the bride, maid of honor, wore
a basque gown of pale blue faille
and carried a sheaf of American
Beauty roses.
Kalman Bruss, brother of the
groom, 'acted as best man.
A reception was held in the
social hall immediately after- the
ceremony and a formal dinner
was given later for the immediate
family.
Among the out 'of town guests
were Mrs. Harry Wine of Bridge-
port, Conn„ and Mrs. Albert A.
