Arrive in Palestine
JERUSALEM (JTA) — Five
hundred seventy six Yemenite
Jews arrived here ;•this week.
They are the last Jewish immi-
grants who will be allowed to
enter Palestine from non-bellig-
erent countries. All remaining
immigration certificates will go
to Jews from war areas or occu-
pied territory.

Program for Rescue
NEW YORK (JTA) — The
World Jewish Congress announc-
ed that it had instructed its Lon-
don office to present the following
11-point program concerning
Hungarian Jews to the Intergov-
ernmental Committee for Refu-
gees in session in London last
week:
I. That the governments of the
U. S. and Great Britain proclaim
that Jews surviving in occupied
Europe are under their protec-
tion and all who abuse their
physical safety will be held ac-
countable as if American or Brit-
ish citizens were concerned.
2. That the International Red
Cross issue a statement that it
considers all Jews deprived of
freedom of movement in occu-
pied Europe to be civilian in-
ternees entitled to benefit, by
analogy, of the 1929 Convention
on prisoners of war.
