The former Governor of New York, one of the out-
standing philanthropists in the world, is now serving as Di-
rector General of United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation
Administration.
In the following statement, which includes excerpts from
his article on "Relief for the Liberated" in the August issue
of Free World, Mr. Lehman outlines the activities of UNRRA.
