Zionist Organization Here Sets
May 7 as Palestine Loyalty Day

Recognizing that "numbers count" in winning not only the war but also the
peace objectives, the Zionist Organization of Detroit has set aside next Sunday,
May 7, - as Palestine Loyalty Day, for the enrollment of Detroit Jews as members
in the Zionist movement.

Harry Cohen, chairman of the membership drive and of the committee in
charge of arrangements for Palestine Loyalty Day, has issued a call for
volunteers to meet at brunch Sunday, at 10 a. m., at the Rose Sittig Cohen Bldg.,
to aid in the membership enrollment which is expected to aid in securing just
, consideration for the Jewish position in Palestine.

The hope for a better future for Jewry offered by Palestine and the part
the Jewish National Home plays in the war effort are depicted in the photographs
reproduced on this page.

The importance of Palestine Loyalty Day is described in a Guest Editorial

la Lawrence S. CrQhn. on Page 4 of this issue.
