the U. S. Army.
In announcing the subject of
the Jan. 31 conference, James I.
Ellmann, president of the Coun-
cil, stated: "The problem of anti-
Semitism is upper-most in the
minds of most American Jews
today. This is an appropriate
time to examine and re-evaluate
our program in this field, in the
light of new events, and of the
various opinions which a sym-
posium of this sort will no doubt
bring forward."
