people may wonder
where Ethel gets all the time
and energy: Some may venture
to opine that she probably has
plenty of time on her hands and
so uses • that time • to, do war
work: ° • •
Well, Ethel puts in a full eight
hours work in the office of the
DSR and, when she comes :home,
it's a tired girl who walks into
the house. But, a new day starts
for Ethel when she leaves her
daily job. It is only the begin-
ning of work for 'her, but Ethel
doesn't mind because she knows
why it must be done, and how
much her efforts mean in our
fight for the preservation • of our
democratic rights. She has cast
away many thoughts of enjoy ,
ment, as there is a war to be
won, - and millions of boys are
depending .upon people like her
