APPEALS FOR J.N.F.
Editor, The Jewish News:
Let's suppose it's Saturday
night or Sunday. A youngster
with a handful of blue flowers
eagerly holds out a canister with
the request, "Will you please con-
tribute to the Jewish National
Fund?" You drop in what change
you have and then perhaps give
the flower tom your little boy or
girl who proudly struggles to
twist it into a buttonhole.
That's a rather familiar hap-
pening, isn't it? Not that it is a'

weekly occurence, since the J
has only two tag days a y
one in December when small.

tributed, and another in

So let us all wear the fl
of our Judaism this week-
Give as much as you possibly
when you are approached—
cheerfully and with th-.
