Saul Meisels, noted cantor, will
give a concert of liturgical,
Israeli, Hasidic and Yiddish folk
songs at the Jewish Music Month
program to be presented at 8:30
p.m., Sunday at the Center.
The program is sponsored joint-
ly by the Yiddish Culture com-
mittee of the Jewish Community
Council and the Jewish Com-
munity Center.
Among Meisel's selections will
be "Mottele," "Drei Techter,"
"Sadot Sheba Emek," and the
'Hasidic Rhapsody.'
Herbert Sorkin, violinist, will
play pieces by Ravel and Chajes.
The Center Dance Group, under
the direction of Fannie Aronson,
will round out the program.
Tickets may be obtained
through all Yiddish speaking or-
ganizations, the Council or the
Center.
