PHIL ROTHSCHILD

A GUY IS reluctant about
I ' making
a date with an out-of-

town gal who's visiting here you
can chalk up his uncertainty to
"what's the percentage."
In nine cases out of 10 it's a
''blind" or "fixed-up" date
he's probably obligating a friend
and goes forth to show the gal
the town (mostly nite spots).
The poor joe ends up with a
deflated pocketbook plus the
headache he's got if his "blind"
turned out to be some mispropor-
tinned, uncomely babe.
Besides the poor hombre is
quite forgotten after she returns
to her home-lead some miles
away.
So, in the end the guy reasons
that taking these visiting babes
out is for the birds . • better to
stick to the home talent.
