Aids Child Fund
A brunch was given by Mrs.
Ann Wisotsky for the Radomer
Ladies Auxiliary. The proceeds
go toward the group's donor din-
ner to be held in January. An-
other brunch will be given on
Tuesday by Mrs. M. Pianko at her
home at 3361 Tuxedo avenue.
A luncheon of the Eva Prenz-
lauer Maternity Aid will be held
at 1 p. m., Tuesday at the home
of Mrs. N. Blatnikoff, 12690
Monte Vista avenue. Card and
Mah Jongg will follow the meet-
ing. Final plans have been drawn
for the group's donor luncheon
scheduled for Dec. 14 at the Book
Cadillac.
"Family Relationships" was
discussed by Dr. Ben Marks, psy-
chiatrist and instructor at Wayne
University, at a meeting of the
University Area Women's Club
Tuesday evening at the home of
Mrs. George Liss.
The National Home for Jewish
Children at Denver held its Oc-
tober meeting Wednesday at the
home of Mrs. Harry C. Goldberg.
Plans for the annual dinner-
dance were discussed.
The fifth annual donor lunch-
eon of the Detroit Women's Serv-
ice Club is set for Nov. 2 at Huy-

erated Campaign was held at the

31, he will be the principal speak-
er at the sixth biennial conven-
tion of the Mississippi Federation
of Temple Sisterhoods in Natchez,
Miis.
On Nov. 1, he will address the
members of Temple Sinai in New
Orleans.
Irving I. Katz, executive sec-
retary of Beth El, will address
the Sunday morning breakfast
club and discussion Group, spon-
sored by the Men's Club, at 10
a. m., Sunday on "Jews in Detroit

Progressive Aid Society which
will be held Nov. 16 at Masonic

will sing accompanied by Lillian

will give imitations and Mickey
Woolf's orchestra will spark the
variety program.

for the child rescue fund.

raised $400; and a luncheon to be
held at 1 p.m., Saturday at the

to be discussed by Rabbi Harry

H. Voss on the second town hall
program of Hadassah.
Rabbi Morris Adler will act as
moderator at the meeting, a vic-
tory honor roll celebration, to be
held at 8:30 p. m., Wednesday,
Nov. 9 in the Scottish Rite Ca-
thedral of Masonic Temple.
Rabbi Essrig, spiritual leader
of Temple Emanuel, Grand Rap-
ids, was born in Palestine and
came to the United States in 1920.
He taught at Hebrew Union Col-
lege and served as Billet director
at the University of Chicago.

Community Center.
Dr. Shmarya Kleinman, presi-
dent of the Council, will speak
to the Brewster Pilgrim Church
at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. His
topic will be "Where Is Germany
Going?" In the summer of 1948,
Dr. Kleinman spent a consider-
able time in Germany The public
