NEW YORK—Jewish War Vet-
erans' units throughout the coun-
try were directed to apply a
"quarantine treatment to public
appearances of, or utterances by,
Communists, Fascists and all
other subversive elements."
The directive was issued by the
JWV's national policy committee,
which announced that all units of
the organization were being "pro-
hibited from initiating or par-
ticipating in any public demon-
stration which poses a potential
consequence of riot or public
disorder."
A JWV post may request per-
mission to participate in a public
expression against Communism or
Fascism, the regulation went on,
but may not undertake action
without the sanction of a special
three-man committee.
The fall activities of the David
Horodoker Juniors began with a
meeting at the home of Mrs. M.
Stein. Plans are being made for
the 11th annual donor dinner.
