Nitra Yeshivah
Asks Support

Rabbis Jacob Schick and Isaac
Mendelovitz are in Detroit again
on behalf En the Nitra Yeshivah,
Mt. Kisco, N. Y.
The Yeshivah was established
two years ago on a 21,0 acre
estate and offers religious train-
ing and agricultural pursuits to
remnants of the Nitra Yeshivah
of Czechoslovakia and o t her
refugee scholars.
Several attempts were made by
residents of nearby estates to
force the closing of the Yeshivah,
but both Christians and Jews,
neighbor:: and outsiders came to
the assistance of the school and

by the Omena Workshop Players,
